Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Expertise in conducting psychological and educational evaluations
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and special education regulations
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop recommendations for interventions, accommodations, and educational planning
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing essential data and professional insights
- Assist with crisis intervention and strategies for improving school climate
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services and evaluations
- Contribute to development and delivery of staff training or workshops as needed
