Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Hold a valid School Psychologist certification/licensure, as required by the state
• Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and facilitating interventions
• Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
• Experience providing both direct and consultative services to K-12 students
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced academic setting
• Up-to-date knowledge of state and federal education regulations and best practices in the field

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students referred for evaluation
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling, behavioral intervention, and crisis support as needed
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to implement strategies that enhance student learning and wellbeing
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to assess students academic needs and provide recommendations
• Maintain accurate records, evaluation reports, and documentation in compliance with school policies
• Support and promote a culturally responsive and anti-bias approach to all school psychology services
