Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments, developing student-centered interventions, and providing counseling
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with IEP processes, RTI, and behavioral intervention plans
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to inform educational planning
- Develop and help implement evidence-based interventions and behavioral supports
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create strategies fostering student growth
- Counsel students individually or in groups to address social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plan development
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards
