Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist for the 20262027 school year. This onsite role, based near Belding, MI, involves working directly within a district environment serving students from preschool through grade 12. Youll provide essential psychological services, conduct special education evaluations, and collaborate closely with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure every learner receives the support they need.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive psychological services to students across all grades
  • Completing and documenting special education evaluations in alignment with state and district guidelines
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized support plans
  • Participating as an active member of multidisciplinary teams to establish eligibility and design targeted interventions
  • Ensuring all processes comply with timelines and requirements set forth by special education law
  • Adjusting the role as needed to meet evolving district or student needs

Desired qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or higher in School Psychology
  • Official approval as a School Psychologist by the Michigan Department of Education
  • Experience conducting evaluations and working within a school setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative, dynamic team environment
