Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students across all grade levels as you deliver vital psychological services within a welcoming school community. This contract position is dedicated to the 20262027 academic year, serving onsite in a K-12 school environment. The focus will be on conducting special education evaluations and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to meet student needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree (or higher) in School Psychology
  • Credentialed by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist
  • Strong knowledge of special education evaluations, compliance, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Experience working in schools and partnering with educators, families, and support staff
  • Adaptability to adjust the roles scope as needed to support students and school goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychological assessments for preschool through 12th-grade students
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams
  • Consult with teachers, school staff, and families to develop student-centered intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate evaluation records in compliance with established timelines
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary efforts for promoting student growth and well-being
  • Stay up-to-date on state and federal special education regulations

This contract offers full-time hours (37.5 per week) onsite, providing consistent engagement with students and staff throughout the school year. You will have the unique opportunity to work with a varied caseload and to make a difference as part of a supportive educational setting.
