Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Experience administering and interpreting a variety of psychological and educational assessments
  • Strong understanding of special education processes, IEP development, and state/federal guidelines
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability in a dynamic school setting, balancing multiple priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students strengths and areas of need
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address academic, behavioral, and mental health concerns
  • Deliver both direct and indirect services to support the emotional and behavioral health of students
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Offer guidance and professional development on topics like classroom management and mental health awareness
