In this essential role, youll partner with educators, students, and families to support learning, emotional well-being, and positive outcomes for each child. Your expertise will help create effective interventions, foster a supportive learning environment, and empower students to thrive academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Experience administering and interpreting a variety of psychological and educational assessments
- Strong understanding of special education processes, IEP development, and state/federal guidelines
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability in a dynamic school setting, balancing multiple priorities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address academic, behavioral, and mental health concerns
- Deliver both direct and indirect services to support the emotional and behavioral health of students
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Offer guidance and professional development on topics like classroom management and mental health awareness
