Take your passion for supporting students success into a dynamic, school-based environment serving a diverse group of learners from preschool through high school. In this full-time, on-site role, youll play a crucial part in identifying students needs and ensuring they receive the resources to thrive academically and emotionally throughout the school year.
Your expertise as a School Psychologist will be highly valued as you conduct psychoeducational evaluations, generate detailed reports, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate closely with educators and staff. Youll have the chance to work with different age groups across multiple school sites, making a meaningful impact on each stage of student development.
What were looking for:
- Current and active DE licensure (required)
- Prior school-based psychologist experiencepreschool, elementary, and/or high school populations preferred
- Proficiency in administering assessments, evaluating results, and report writing
- Experience working as part of multidisciplinary teams, specifically IEPs
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Flexible, reliable, and comfortable managing a varied caseload
- Ability to arrange reliable transportation and adapt to working across locations
- Willingness to complete Red Clay fingerprinting within the first few days and pay the upfront fee
Key responsibilities:
- Provide psychoeducational assessments for students of all ages
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering recommendations and insights
- Collaborate with district staff to design and implement intervention strategies
- Prepare comprehensive records and reports tailored to individual student needs
- Support positive relationships with students, families, and educational professionals
