Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students social, emotional, and educational development as a School Psychologist on a contract basis in the Baton Rouge, LA area. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist license (Louisiana or eligible for reciprocity)
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist within educational settings preferred
  • Solid skills in assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable working with diverse student populations, including those in primary and secondary grades
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to guide student support plans
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions
  • Participate in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Provide counseling, crisis response, and consultative services as needed
  • Maintain accurate case records and comply with all ethical and legal guidelines
  • Support MTSS and RTI initiatives to help students reach their full potential
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
