Take the next step in your school psychology career with a contract opportunity supporting K-12 students across multiple school sites in the Baton Rouge area. This role plays an essential part in a multidisciplinary team, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive.

Youll conduct educational assessments, write detailed reports, and participate in planning interventions, all while collaborating closely with educators, families, and related service professionals. The position is part-time (29 hours per week) and primarily on-site, with some flexibility for hybrid arrangements possible. Contract runs from July 27, 2026, through May 24, 2027, with initial professional development days starting July 27. Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education School Psychology certification is required
• Prior experience in psychoeducational assessment and strong knowledge of IDEA compliance
• Skilled in interpreting assessment data and writing comprehensive evaluation reports
• Familiarity with special education eligibility standards and eligibility processes
• Effective communicator able to explain complex assessment results to diverse audiences
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued
• Strong organization, time management, and case management abilities
• Prior collaboration with multidisciplinary education teams (e.g., diagnosticians, social workers, SLPs)
• Willingness to complete a district background check and fingerprinting

Responsibilities:

• Provide educational assessments for K-12 students and deliver timely reports
• Offer referrals and information to students and families regarding community resources
• Work directly with students, families, and staff using best practices in educational psychology
• Maintain accurate records and participate in program evaluation
• Communicate assessment processes and results clearly to all stakeholders
• Participate in district professional development and multidisciplinary planning meetings
