Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid or eligible School Psychologist credential for the state of Colorado
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and providing group or individual counseling in a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive and confidential assessments to identify student needs
- Lead evaluation processes for special education eligibility and re-evaluation
- Provide direct support and crisis intervention for students as needed
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to create effective support plans
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and case conferences
- Consult with teachers and administrators to improve classroom management and promote positive school climate
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
