A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in the Aspen and Basalt area of Colorado, serving high school students under a W2 contract arrangement. This position offers the option for travel assignments with included housing and meal stipends, providing flexibility and support for candidates open to relocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support student academic and behavioral success
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide counseling services as needed
- Analyze data to inform instructional practices and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights to enhance student well-being
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license
- Experience working with high school populations in a school setting
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both students and staff
- Ability to adapt to different school environments, particularly in rural or mountain communities
