This contract position involves working on-site in the Baltimore area, providing valuable support and guidance for students and collaborating closely with educators and families. As a fully credentialed professional, you will play a crucial role in fostering the mental health and educational well-being of children and adolescents.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters or PhD in School Psychology.
- Current state certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
- Experience or interest in K-12 educational settings.
- Ability to fulfill district background check and fingerprinting per House Bill 486, as well as comprehensive employment history review.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and assessment skills.
- Willingness to complete a prescreen interview as part of the eligibility process.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention and support plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to provide guidance on student performance and well-being.
- Support students through counseling and crisis intervention services.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements.
- Participate in education and behavior planning meetings as requested.
