Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Current and valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois
  • Previous experience working in elementary, middle, or high school settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of evaluation instruments and assessment procedures
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to interpret data and make appropriate educational recommendations

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations of students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to educators, parents, and stakeholders
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when needed
  • Offer professional development and guidance to school staff on student mental health and best practices
