Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist licensure
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Experience supporting diverse K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students strengths and needs
- Develop individualized education plans and interventions for students requiring support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Utilize data to monitor progress, inform decision-making, and adjust interventions
- Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and special education processes
