Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting high school students as a dedicated School Psychologist. This onsite position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, and offers the chance to make a direct impact within a vibrant educational environment. Youll collaborate closely with students, educators, and families to champion student success, well-being, and growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist (IL PSYCH) license required
- Previous experience supporting high school students preferred
- Strong ability to develop individualized plans and deliver evidenced-based interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, parents, and students
- Comfortable working onsite for 35 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide comprehensive evaluations for high school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans and behavioral interventions
- Consult with teachers, counselors, and families to support student academic and emotional growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate, confidential student records and documentation
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive school climate
