Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain licensure in Colorado
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, learning processes, and special education law (IDEA, Section 504)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Compassionate, resourceful, and adaptable in meeting the unique needs of students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to identify student strengths and challenges
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Consult with educators on classroom strategies, behavioral interventions, and positive psychology practices
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
