Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure in Colorado
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents in school environments preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation
- Ability to develop effective IEPs and participate in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and share results to inform educational decisions
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and monitor behavior and academic intervention plans
- Participate in eligibility meetings and serve as an essential member of the IEP/504 process
- Contribute to school-wide programs supporting positive behavioral and emotional development
- Maintain detailed and confidential case records according to state and district guidelines
