Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state-issued licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention development
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Develop and implement individualized plans and interventions based on assessment results
- Provide individual and group counseling for students facing academic or emotional challenges
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and parents to support student learning and well-being
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
