Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and providing counseling services
- Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) practices
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs in collaboration with teachers and special education teams
- Provide individual and group counseling to students with diverse academic, social, and emotional needs
- Participate in crisis intervention and prevention strategies
- Serve as a resource to staff and parents regarding child development and mental health
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting positive behavior and inclusive practices
