Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in assessment, intervention, and consultation within school environments
  • Experience in administering cognitive, achievement, behavioral, and social/emotional assessments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, 504 plans, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and mental health challenges
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and outside agencies to develop effective intervention strategies and classroom accommodations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs and 504 plans
  • Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed to maintain a safe and positive school environment
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and respect, advocating for the needs of all students
