This full-time, onsite contract opportunity spans two schools within the district, with flexible assignment options serving students from early childhood through high school. Your expertise will help shape both individual and systemic interventions, ensuring students have the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a school psychologist
• Masters Degree, Educational Specialist, or Doctorate in School Psychology
• Advanced skills in student assessment and data-driven reporting
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a calm, solution-focused approach during crises
• Proficiency with technology to support assessments and documentation
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse community of educators, families, and outside service providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct counseling to special education students (individual & group)
• Design interventions addressing academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs
• Provide crisis management, including suicide risk and threat assessments and the development of safety plans
• Conduct IEP assessments, write detailed reports, and develop targeted IEP goals
• Lead and participate in school-based meetings and professional development sessions
• Consult and collaborate with families, teachers, school staff, and community partners
• Deliver staff psychoeducation, home/wellness visits, and behavioral consultation
• Facilitate MTSS and contribute to school-wide behavioral supports
