- Strong skills in consultation and collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Understanding of current best practices in psychological evaluation, RTI/MTSS, and behavioral interventions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify student learning and behavioral needs through observations, interviews, and evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies that improve student outcomes
- Provide individual or group counseling to help students overcome challenges and enhance coping skills
- Participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of intervention plans for academic and behavioral support
- Deliver crisis intervention and collaborate on prevention programs as needed
