A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support two elementary schools in Ashland, VA. This position offers a dynamic travel assignment, primarily onsite, focusing on comprehensive evaluations and eligibility processes that contribute directly to students' educational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and testing to determine student eligibility for specialized services
  • Lead and collaborate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and effective communication with educators and families
  • Provide consultative support related to evaluations within elementary school settings
  • Manage caseload across two elementary schools, balancing onsite presence with travel between locations

Required Qualifications:

  • Current School Psychologist License valid in Virginia
  • Experience with psychological testing, evaluations, and eligibility determination
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage IEP meetings effectively

Location and Schedule:

  • Assignment based in Ashland, VA, covering Ashland Elementary and Mechanicsville Elementary Schools
  • Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week
  • Primarily onsite work with travel between the two schools
