A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support two elementary schools in Ashland, VA. This role involves conducting psychological testing, participating in eligibility and IEP meetings, and assisting with evaluations to ensure students receive the appropriate educational support. The position is onsite, offering direct collaboration with school staff and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments to students.
- Lead and contribute to eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Support the evaluation process to determine special education services.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop effective intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist License for Virginia.
- Experience working in elementary school settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and assessment protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively with attention to detail.
