This contract opportunity, based on-site in the Denver area, is tailored for dedicated school psychologists seeking leave coverage across several district campuses. Select from a variety of coverage options, each offering a unique caseload and age range, including middle school (Aurora Hills MS), pre-K-8 (Coal Creek P-8), and elementary settings (Crawford ES, Dartmouth ES). Assignment details, including start and end dates, hours per week, and school locations, will be determined by the specific coverage option selected.

Qualifications:

• Masters, Specialists, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
• Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
• Previous experience working in school settings is required
• Completion of district background check and fingerprinting (time-sensitive)
• Strong student assessment, crisis management, and intervention planning skills
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with computer technology and documentation systems
• Skill in building rapport with diverse students, families, and educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver group and individual counseling tied to IEP mental health goals
• Develop interventions to address academic, behavioral, and social/emotional concerns
• Conduct and interpret assessments (cognitive, social, behavioral, adaptive)
• Manage crisis situations, including risk and threat assessments, safety planning, and support
• Provide comprehensive documentation, including evaluations, progress reports, and service logs
• Engage in collaborative meetings, consultations, and professional development
• Offer psychoeducation, academic/behavioral consultation, and resource coordination for staff, students, and families
