Located near Arvada, CO, you'll work with a smaller district known for its dedicated SPED team and inclusive culture. While final caseloads are still being determined, you'll play a vital role in supporting students and educators, contributing your expertise to foster a positive learning environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid or pending state licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience in school settings highly preferred.
- Familiarity with special education teams and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving caseloads and student needs.
- Commitment to evidence-based practices supporting diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans.
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, parents, and school staff.
- Collaborate closely with a strong SPED team to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and support as needed.
