Take your skills as a School Psychologist to the next level with a contract opportunity based near Idaho Springs, CO. This position serves a diverse group of students from PreK through 12th grade, offering the chance to make a real impact across multiple grade levels. With a manageable caseload of 35 students and a convenient four-day school week (Monday through Thursday), this role is both rewarding and flexible. The assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the current school year, with renewal likely for the 2026-27 school year as well.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid Colorado School Psychologist license
- Credentials from CDE as a School Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor required
- Experience working with PreK-12th grade students strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support students needs
- Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and counseling services to students across grade levels
- Develop individualized education and behavior plans in collaboration with staff and families
- Engage in proactive mental health support and crisis intervention when necessary
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement effective strategies
- Maintain documentation and confidential records according to district and licensing standards
