Key Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in the state of Texas
• Previous experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
• Strong skills in conducting psycho-educational assessments and interpreting results
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI), Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and behavioral intervention plans
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and report findings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop academic and behavioral interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and advocating for student needs
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and guidance to students as needed
• Support staff with in-service training and serve as a resource for mental health and behavioral strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school and district policies
