Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in the state of Texas
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong skills in conducting psycho-educational assessments and interpreting results
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI), Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and behavioral intervention plans
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and report findings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop academic and behavioral interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and advocating for student needs
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and guidance to students as needed
- Support staff with in-service training and serve as a resource for mental health and behavioral strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school and district policies
