Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available to provide specialized evaluation and support services across multiple schools within a K-12 district in Fort Worth, Texas. This role requires working an average of 35 hours per week, itinerant between five schools, focusing primarily on elementary and some middle school students. The position spans from January 5, 2026, through May 21, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD assessments.
- Provide direct psychological services and interventions to students.
- Develop and implement Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to promote student well-being and academic success.
- Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines regarding special education and psychological services.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or an Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations, including assessments and interventions for AU, ED, and OHI.
- Strong knowledge of psychological evaluation tools and special education regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
