Job Description

A school psychologist opportunity is available for a skilled professional to support multiple elementary campuses in Arlington, TX. This contract position spans the current school year and requires an itinerant approach, serving three campuses with a focus on comprehensive student evaluations and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and testing on-site across three elementary schools.
  • Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and Student Support Meetings.
  • Prepare detailed reports based on student assessments, with flexibility to complete report writing remotely.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to address student needs and develop appropriate interventions.
  • Manage an evolving caseload with traveling responsibilities among assigned campuses.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience as a school psychologist, preferably with itinerant service across multiple campuses.
  • Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within a contract timeframe.
  • Commitment to on-site testing to ensure valid and reliable student evaluations.

Location: Arlington, TX (serving elementary schools across East and East/Central Plano campuses)
Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY)
