Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois School Psychologist (Psych IL) License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) specific to School Psychology
  • Experience or strong interest in working with Pre K populations
  • Comfortable working onsite with a diverse team of educators and specialists
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and counseling skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for Pre K students
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct support, consultation, and intervention to address students emotional, behavioral, and learning needs
  • Advise staff and families on best practices for supporting students educational growth
  • Participate in eligibility meetings, parent conferences, and provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
