Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated School Psychologist supporting a K5th grade caseload. In this full-time, contract opportunity, youll play a key role in fostering the academic, social, and emotional growth of young learners. Your expertise will empower educators, families, and students through comprehensive psychological services and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Strong knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support and RTI/MTSS frameworks
• Prior experience assessing and counseling students in elementary settings
• Ability to conduct psychological assessments, write formal reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support for students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to design and support academic and behavioral interventions
• Engage in ongoing professional development and access consultation from an experienced Clinical Advisory Team
• Communicate assessment results and recommendations clearly to staff and families
• Promote positive mental health and a supportive school climate
