Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students in the greater Arlington Heights area as a contract School Psychologist. In this full-time position, you'll work with students in grades K through 5, providing vital psychological services that will have a lasting impact on young learners social, emotional, and academic development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist credential
  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Understanding of child development and behavioral interventions
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Participate in IEP and student support meetings, offering expert input and recommendations
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and parents, providing guidance and effective strategies to enhance student outcomes
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards at all times
