This contract role is full-time and will serve a middle school caseload near Arlington Heights and Buffalo Grove, IL. As the building psychologist, your expertise will be vital in addressing academic, social, and emotional needs within the school community.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Illinois (IL) School Psychologist License
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and parents
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and handle sensitive situations with professionalism

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services to middle school students, including assessments, counseling, and interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student support plans
  • Conduct evaluations and interpret assessment data to determine students needs and eligibility for services
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive school climate

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.00 to $90.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
