Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois Psychologist License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (Bilingual required)
  • Experience serving K-12 populations strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for K-12 students
  • Deliver both individual and group counseling, particularly for Spanish-speaking students
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
  • Interpret assessment results and present findings at multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Support crisis intervention as needed and provide culturally responsive services
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
