Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychology endorsement
- Previous experience working with elementary and middle school-aged students preferred
- Expertise in counseling, psychological assessments, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication abilities and skill collaborating with students, teachers, and families
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to promoting positive student outcomes
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver both individual and group counseling services to students in K-8
- Conduct formal and informal assessments to support educational planning and intervention
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective strategies supporting student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
- Support crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and positive behavior support initiatives
- Maintain accurate and confidential records as required by school policies
