Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support a dynamic educational setting near Franklin Park, IL. This role involves managing a caseload of approximately 50 re-evaluations, actively participating on the MTSS team for tier 3 interventions, and conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). The position is based in Arlington Heights, IL, with a contract engagement aimed at delivering comprehensive psychological services to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for a caseload of about 50 students.
- Collaborate with the MTSS team to provide tier 3 support interventions.
- Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop effective Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Interpret assessment results, prepare reports, and communicate findings with educators and families.
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and provide strategies to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience with MTSS framework and tier 3 interventions.
- Proficiency in conducting FBAs and creating BIPs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain detailed documentation.
