Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Prior experience as a school psychologist in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong foundation in MTSS processes and tiered intervention strategies
- Familiarity with conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Excellent communication, counseling, and case management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage an approximately 50-student re-evaluation caseload, ensuring compliance with state and federal timelines
- Lead and participate in MTSS teams, particularly focused on Tier 3 supports
- Conduct FBAs and develop/implement BIPs for at-risk students
- Engage in consultation with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and well-being
- Deliver direct and indirect student services, including individual and group counseling as needed
- Compile and interpret psychoeducational assessments and contribute to IEP development
