Job Description
Make a positive difference by providing psychological services and support to students in a contract-based role as a School Psychologist. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with educators and families to help foster students educational and emotional well-being.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state credential or license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Knowledge of special education laws, IEP process, and best practices in intervention
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and support to educational staff and parents regarding student needs and strategies
- Deliver individual and group counseling services as appropriate
- Assist in developing intervention plans and monitoring student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation following state, district, and federal guidelines
- Support crisis response and contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate
