Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois School Psychologist credentials (IL PSYCH)
  • Experience supporting middle school students preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and consultation within educational settings
  • Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to new environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results for eligibility and program planning
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies
  • Develop and monitor IEPs for students with special needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to positive school climate initiatives
