Seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support student achievement and well-being at an educational institution in Anoka, MN. This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly within a school setting, providing vital psychological services to students, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student learning needs and challenges
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote positive behavioral support and academic success
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Interpret assessment results and communicate findings effectively to all stakeholders
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives focused on student mental health
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a K-12 setting
- Strong knowledge of educational laws and regulations, including IDEA and Section 504
- Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies addressing social, emotional, and academic challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with diverse groups
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice standards
