Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience in a K-12 setting is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of psychological evaluations, crisis intervention, and behavioral management
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, families, and staff
  • Proficiency in developing and interpreting Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students facing academic or emotional challenges
  • Consult with teachers and caregivers to suggest effective learning strategies and interventions
  • Support crisis response and prevention initiatives within the school
  • Participate in meetings, provide training, and serve as a valuable resource for staff and families
  • Maintain accurate records and relevant documentation in compliance with regulations
