Job Description
Take your expertise in educational psychology to an engaging school environment just outside Annapolis, MD. This is a full-time, onsite contract role supporting student success across multiple district schools. While there are five schools in the district, your responsibilities will be shared with an on-site school psychologistso youll have a manageable, collaborative workload.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland School Psychologist license
- Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with educators, students, and families
- Ability to manage assessments, meetings, and documentation efficiently
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs
- Participate actively in IEP and SST meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support students
- Provide counseling services as needed, using evidence-based approaches
- Maintain accurate and timely assessment, testing, and progress records
- Serve as a resource to teachers and staff, fostering a supportive educational environment
- Balance your caseload in partnership with the current school psychologist, ensuring quality attention to students diverse needs
