An opportunity is available for a full-time School Psychologist to support a K-12 student caseload for the 2025/2026 school year in Plymouth, Michigan. This contract position offers a rewarding chance to work within a dynamic educational environment, contributing to the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students K-12 to identify learning and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals.
- Provide counseling and support services to students to promote mental health and positive behavior.
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state regulations and district policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license in the state of Michigan.
- Experience working with a diverse K-12 student population.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a full workload efficiently within a school setting.
