This part-time contract opportunity calls for an experienced School Psychologist or Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping children and adolescents succeed. Work just two days per week and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff in fostering a healthy learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas School Psychologist or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
• Strong understanding of social-emotional development in children and teens
• Excellent consultation, assessment, and counseling skills
• Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological and counseling services to students, addressing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as needed
• Administer and interpret assessments for eligibility, placements, and intervention planning
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to develop strategies and accommodations supportive of student success
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings (ARD, 504, RTI, etc.) and assist with documentation
• Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts across the school community
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and comply with ethical and legal standards
