Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Valid Texas license as a School Psychologist or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Experience working in schools or with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with staff, students, and parents
  • Exceptional skills in assessment, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Develop recommendations for interventions and support plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design strategies that promote positive student outcomes
  • Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
  • Support the development of IEPs, 504 plans, and behavioral intervention plans
  • Participate in student support and interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Maintain thorough documentation and reports in compliance with school and state regulations
