This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled School Psychologist who is passionate about making a difference in students foundational school experiences. With a schedule spanning three days per week from the start of the school year through early December, youll have the chance to work closely with early learners, educators, and families to foster growth and success.
What you'll bring:
- Valid Minnesota Psychologist license
- MDE School Psychologist License
- Experience or strong interest in working with early learners
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to delivering high-quality psychological services in an educational setting
Responsibilities:
- Assess, evaluate, and support the emotional, behavioral, and academic needs of early learners
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective strategies and interventions
- Conduct individual or group counseling as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team recommendations
- Document assessments, progress, and interventions according to state and district standards
- Promote positive learning environments and advocate for student well-being
