Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to a dynamic educational setting! This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals ready to support early learning students and collaborate with a dedicated team at the start of the school year.
As a valued team member, you will play a key role in helping young learners reach their full potential. The position spans from the beginning of the school year through early December, with a part-time schedule of three days per week.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid Minnesota Psychologist license
- Hold an MDE School Psychologist License
- Previous school-based experience, especially in early learning, is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for early learners to identify developmental, behavioral, and academic needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to facilitate student success
- Provide direct and consultative support to students, staff, and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and recommend interventions
- Maintain accurate records and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
