Job Description

Step into a contract opportunity that lets you make a real impact as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year! Work with elementary (K-5th, 25-35 students) and middle school (6th-8th, 20-30 students) caseloads, all within a single school building close to Andover, MN.

This role runs from August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a consistent 37.5 hours per week. Engage in meaningful work, collaborating with educators, families, and staff to foster student growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for diverse student needs
  • Provide direct counseling and behavioral interventions to support student success
  • Partner with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure comprehensive care and communication
  • Assist with crisis intervention and student safety planning
  • Serve as a resource on a multidisciplinary team to promote academic, emotional, and behavioral growth

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota School Psychologist license (required)
  • Prior experience working with K-8th grade students preferred
  • Strong understanding of special education law, assessment, and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practice
