Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological and academic assessments
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and ability to participate in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in educational settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and interpret results for students referred for evaluation
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement appropriate interventions
- Develop, monitor, and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling support as needed
- Serve as a resource on social, emotional, behavioral, and learning issues
- Participate actively in school-based meetings and multidisciplinary teams
