Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist in Texas
  • Masters or specialist degree in school psychology or a closely related field
  • Experience conducting assessments, developing IEP/504 plans, and delivering counseling services
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work well with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention and behavioral support plans is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for school teams
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of IEPs and intervention plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional, social, and behavioral needs
  • Offer consultation and training to teachers and parents
  • Participate in crisis response and threat assessment as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance with state and federal guidelines
