Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist in Texas
- Masters or specialist degree in school psychology or a closely related field
- Experience conducting assessments, developing IEP/504 plans, and delivering counseling services
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work well with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with crisis intervention and behavioral support plans is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for school teams
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of IEPs and intervention plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional, social, and behavioral needs
- Offer consultation and training to teachers and parents
- Participate in crisis response and threat assessment as needed
- Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance with state and federal guidelines
