Job Description

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong background in counseling, behavior interventions, and crisis response
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and multi-tiered systems of support

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students strengths and needs
  • Develop and monitor individualized interventions to support learning and behavior
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to eligibility and planning discussions
  • Provide direct counseling or social-emotional support to students as needed
  • Assist with crisis prevention and response efforts
  • Consult with teachers and families to guide classroom strategies and promote positive outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
