Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure (Georgia or eligible for GA certification)
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessments, cognitive testing, and behavioral/emotional evaluation
  • Understanding of special education processes, IEPs, and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a dynamic educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
  • Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations for student support
  • Participate in the IEP process, including eligibility determination and service planning
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding interventions and classroom strategies
  • Support crisis response and provide counseling services as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
