Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and intervention planning
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students emotional and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams
  • Assist with crisis intervention and prevention programs as needed
  • Promote positive school climate through staff training, student workshops, and consultation with school personnel
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
