Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to student success
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and intervention planning
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students emotional and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention programs as needed
- Promote positive school climate through staff training, student workshops, and consultation with school personnel
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
