Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Strong background in psychological testing and evaluation
- Ability to create and implement intervention strategies for diverse student populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Experience in school settings preferred, including knowledge of IEP processes
- Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students academic and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions
- Participate in the creation and implementation of IEPs and other educational plans
- Consult with school staff on strategies for classroom management and student behavior
- Conduct crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
