Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced School Psychologist to support students at both elementary and high school levels. This role, located in Albuquerque, NM, focuses on providing psychological services that enhance student learning and well-being within a collaborative educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support students social and emotional development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and advocate for appropriate services.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and develop programs to improve school climate and student resilience.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working in both elementary and high school environments.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological testing, assessment tools, and legal requirements in educational settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently while maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality.
