Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience in K-12 school environments preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, data interpretation, and consultation
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to inclusion
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, interpret results, and provide recommendations for educational programming
- Develop and facilitate interventions for students with emotional, behavioral, or learning challenges
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other special education meetings
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
- Deliver crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Support the development and implementation of school-wide prevention programs
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
