Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Experience in providing psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with staff, families, and community partners
- Ability to manage multiple student cases effectively
- Comfortable facilitating individual and group counseling sessions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments of students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and monitor IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Support crisis intervention and provide consultation on behavioral and mental health issues
- Deliver direct counseling services to students as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams for special education eligibility and program planning
- Use data-driven approaches to recommend interventions and accommodations
