Make a difference in the lives of students across PreK-12 by supporting academic, emotional, and behavioral development in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with school teams, families, and multidisciplinary professionals for the 20262027 academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid, active NCDPI School Psychologist License (must be attached to your application)
- Proficiency with ECATS is required
- Prior experience as a school psychologist in educational settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to navigate crisis response and provide counseling support
- Willingness to travel between multiple campuses within the district (mileage not reimbursed)
What Youll Do:
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote students academic and socio-emotional growth
- Facilitate individual and group counseling, as well as crisis response services
- Organize and conduct parent conferences to address student needs and progress
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations for students suspected of disabilities
- Streamline and manage mental health interventions and planning
- Deliver staff training on a range of educational and behavioral strategies
- Participate as a key member on multi-disciplinary, district-level teams
- Adapt to additional duties as assigned by your supervisor
