Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students to identify learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student well-being and academic performance.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert insights regarding student behavior and learning challenges.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential records in accordance with school policies and legal requirements.
  • Promote awareness and understanding of mental health issues within the school setting.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and testing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a school support team.
